Animal Market is an introductory platform that connects users. We do not act as agent, broker, guarantor, or participant in private transactions between buyers, sellers, breeders, rescues, or service providers.

2. Limited Liability Notice

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Animal Market is not liable for inaccurate listings, seller statements, buyer representations, payment disputes, condition of animals, welfare outcomes, transport outcomes, or any direct or indirect loss arising from user transactions.

3. Buyer Legal Declaration

• I will personally verify all listing information before paying, reserving, or collecting an animal.
• I understand listing details may contain errors, omissions, or changes outside Animal Market's control.
• I accept full responsibility for due diligence, including identity checks, welfare checks, and lawful transfer checks.
• I understand Animal Market does not guarantee listing accuracy or transaction outcomes.

4. Seller Legal Declaration

• I will provide accurate, current, and lawful listing information.
• I confirm I have legal authority to list, sell, rehome, or advertise the animal or service.
• I accept responsibility for all statements, documents, and representations I provide to buyers.
• I understand Animal Market may remove listings or accounts that breach terms, policy, or legal obligations.

5. Cross-Acknowledgement

Buyers and sellers can view these declarations so both sides understand what each party has agreed to when using Animal Market.

This declaration sits alongside the Terms & Conditions, Terms of Use, and Buyer & Seller Policy. If there is a conflict, the stricter legal or platform requirement will apply.
